Privacy Policy
This policy explains information that may be processed when you use SaveDownloader and the choices available for optional analytics and similar technologies.
Information you submit
When you paste a supported public Instagram, Douyin, or TikTok link, SaveDownloader processes that URL so the resolver can identify the public post and locate supported media data made available through the public web. Do not submit private, confidential, authenticated, or access-controlled URLs.
Account information
SaveDownloader does not require a site account and does not ask for your Instagram, Douyin, or TikTok username, password, private account cookies, authentication tokens, or payment information.
Technical and security logs
Hosting, delivery, and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser or user-agent information, network information, and security signals. This information may be used for service delivery, abuse prevention, diagnostics, rate limiting, and reliability.
Submitted URLs and downloaded media
SaveDownloader is designed as a resolver and delivery utility rather than a permanent media library. A submitted public URL is processed to resolve media and may appear in ordinary infrastructure logs. SaveDownloader does not intentionally create a permanent server-side archive of every downloaded file. Third-party source platforms, CDNs, and hosting providers may independently process requests according to their own policies.
Cookies, local storage, and consent choices
SaveDownloader uses a small amount of local browser storage to remember your analytics consent choice. Optional analytics is not enabled unless the stored choice permits it. See the Cookies & Consent page for details and to reopen cookie settings.
Google Analytics
When analytics is accepted, SaveDownloader uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-07B50P20QM, to understand visits and interactions such as successful resolutions and download actions. Google Analytics may process page views, referrer information, device and browser details, approximate location derived from network information, and interaction data. We use this information to understand traffic, diagnose usage patterns, and improve the service.

Advertising and Google AdSense
SaveDownloader does not currently require advertising to use the core downloader. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers in connection with ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and—where permitted and consented—personalization.
Before personalized Google ads are served in regions where Google requires a certified consent management platform, SaveDownloader intends to use an applicable Google-certified consent solution. This privacy policy will be updated if advertising configuration materially changes. Google advertising preferences can be managed through Google Ads Settings.
Third-party services
The website relies on Cloudflare infrastructure, a Vercel-hosted TikTok download backend, Google Analytics when consented, and public source-platform/media services including Instagram/Meta, Douyin, and TikTok. These providers may independently process technical request information as needed to provide their services.
Data retention
Technical, security, and analytics information may be retained by infrastructure or analytics providers according to their settings, policies, and applicable requirements. SaveDownloader does not intentionally maintain a permanent server-side library of media resolved by visitors.
Children and sensitive information
Do not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information through the downloader or support email. The service is intended to process public media URLs, not private personal data.
Your choices
You can use the core downloader without creating an account. You may reject optional analytics through the consent banner and reopen the choice from the Cookies & Consent page. Browser and device settings may provide additional controls for cookies, downloads, and site data.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as SaveDownloader adds or changes analytics, advertising, infrastructure, or product features. The revision date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
