This policy explains the information that may be processed when you use SaveDownloader and how the service is designed to limit unnecessary data collection.
Information you submit
When you paste a supported public Douyin or TikTok link, SaveDownloader processes that URL so the resolver can identify the public post and locate media data made available through the public web. Do not submit private, confidential, authenticated, or access-controlled URLs.
Account information
SaveDownloader does not require you to create a site account and does not ask for your Douyin or TikTok username, password, or private account cookies.
Technical and security logs
Our hosting, delivery, and security infrastructure may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, request time, requested path, user-agent or browser information, network information, and security signals. This information may be used for service delivery, abuse prevention, diagnostics, rate limiting, and reliability.
Downloaded media
SaveDownloader is designed as a media resolver rather than a permanent video library. When public media is resolved, your browser may download it directly from a third-party media host. Those third-party hosts may process requests according to their own privacy practices.
Cookies and local storage
The core downloader does not require a SaveDownloader user account. Google Analytics and other services may use cookies or similar technologies depending on browser settings, region, consent choices, and service configuration. Browser and device settings may provide controls for cookies and site data.
Analytics
SaveDownloader uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-07B50P20QM, to understand visits and how the website is used. Google Analytics may process information such as page views, referrer information, device and browser details, approximate location derived from network information, and interaction data. We use analytics data to understand traffic, diagnose usage patterns, and improve the service. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy terms and service configuration.
Advertising
SaveDownloader does not currently require advertising to use the core downloader. If advertising services are enabled later, this policy and applicable consent controls will be updated as needed. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies and applicable law.
Third-party services
The website relies on third-party infrastructure, analytics, and public media services to operate. Those providers may independently process technical request information. SaveDownloader does not control third-party websites or media delivery networks.
Data retention
SaveDownloader does not intentionally create a permanent server-side archive of the media users resolve. Technical and analytics data may be retained by infrastructure or analytics providers according to their settings, policies, and applicable requirements.
Children and sensitive information
Do not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information through the downloader. The service is intended to process public media URLs, not private personal data.
Your choices
You can use the core downloader without creating an account. You may also choose not to submit a URL. Browser and device settings may provide additional controls for cookies, downloads, and site data.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as SaveDownloader adds or changes features, analytics, advertising, or infrastructure. The revision date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
